You don't need teaching experience; we'll give you the skills and confidence to run engaging, practical sessions. Our focus is on making sure you feel comfortable, capable, and ready to succeed as a Course Leader (we call them Hero Makers).

Experience
You don't have to have previous experience in teaching First Aid, as this course will give you all the skills you need to teach a range of lively and engaging courses.
You will need to have a current First Aid at Work (3 day) certificate (unless you already have a valid nursing, doctor or paramedic qualification).
If you do not have a current first aid or medical qualification, we can get that sorted for you too.
Prerequisites
You don't need a teaching qualification to get started - we can license you to deliver a range of popular first aid courses without one.
If you'd like to deliver HSE Compliant workplace courses, you'll need a teaching or training qualification, for example from this list;
- Level 3/4 Award in Education & Training
- Cert Ed, PGCE, B Ed, M Ed, CTLLS/DTLLS
- Further and Adult Ed Teacher’s Certificate
- IHCD Instructional Methods / Instructor Certificate
- Nursing mentorship qualifications
- PTLLS inc. Principles & Practice of Assessment
- S/NVQ level 3/4 in training & development
- TQFE A22, B22, C21, C23, C24
- Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training
No qualification? No problem! We can add the Level 3 Award in Education & Training to the instructor course.

Northern Training Centre: Elland Road, Leeds
Our northern training centre is located at the iconic Leeds United Conference & Events Centre at Elland Road Stadium. Super accessible just off the M621, it offers top-tier modern facilities and plenty of free onsite parking for delegates across Yorkshire and the North.
