Help your school team feel calm, clear and ready to act in an allergy emergency.
From September 2026, schools will need to be even clearer on how they manage allergies, train staff and respond in an emergency.
But behind every policy and procedure is something really simple:
A child needs the adult nearest to them to know what to do.
This focused 1-hour course gives your staff clear, practical training, including hands-on practice with trainer adrenaline auto-injectors.
It’s ideal for INSET days, twilight sessions and all-staff training.

Why this course?
Imagine if a child has a serious allergic reaction during lunch, PE, a school trip or the afternoon rush.
The adult closest to them might not be the school first aider.
It could be a teacher, teaching assistant, lunchtime supervisor, office team member, sports coach, minibus driver, caretaker or member of support staff.
That’s why this course is designed for everyone who works with children.
Not just to tick a box.
To help your staff spot the signs, raise the alarm, and take calm, confident action while help is on the way.
Practical training that fits around your school day
Online training can be useful for awareness, but allergy emergencies need more than awareness.
Your staff need to feel confident enough to act.
That’s why this 1-hour course includes hands-on practice with trainer adrenaline auto-injectors, so your team can see, hold and practise the steps in a calm learning environment.
Because the first time someone handles an auto-injector should not be during an emergency.
Want the bigger picture before you enquire?
We recently hosted a short school briefing to help explain Benedict’s Law, allergy safety and what schools can start thinking about ahead of September 2026.
It’s around 30 minutes, so you can watch it with your SLT, share it with governors, or use it as a starting point for your school planning.
We’re also keeping a live Benedict’s Law guidance hub updated as things develop.
A few things you might be wondering
Here are a few things schools often ask before booking allergy and anaphylaxis training.
Is this the same as your Action for Anaphylaxis course?
No. Our Action for Anaphylaxis course is a longer course that also includes Basic Life Support and AED awareness.
This new 1-hour Allergy and Anaphylaxis Course for Schools is a focused school session designed to help wider staff teams build confidence around allergy and anaphylaxis response.
Can this be delivered on an INSET day?
Yes. This course is designed to work well as part of an INSET day, twilight session or all-staff training session.
Can all school staff attend?
Yes. It is designed for everyone who works with children, not just first aiders.
Do staff get certificates?
Yes, certificates are provided for staff who attend.
Can you support Multi-Academy Trusts?
Yes. If you are planning training across several schools, complete the form and tell us what you need.

Let's talk!
We’re on a mission to fill workplaces with Heroes-on-Standby - people who feel confident stepping in during a first aid emergency or supporting someone’s mental wellbeing.
Got a quick question, an idea, or just fancy a chat about training? We’d love to hear from you (fair warning: we can get a little over-enthusiastic when it comes to first aid and wellbeing!).
If your enquiry is a bit more detailed, you can book a consultation with one of our training experts.
