FREE 3-Hour Annual First Aid Skills Update (HSE-Compliant)
The HSE ‘strongly recommends’ that everyone completes a first aid skills update course at 12 & 24 months. We understand that the Covid-19 pandemic has made it difficult for lots of workplaces to keep up with compliance (including practicing rescue breaths) and we want to help.
We usually run this course free of charge at our training centres for any delegate that has attended any of our courses… but we are extending this to train you free of charge at your premises!
What’s the catch?
There isn’t one! Our courses are different by design – with confidence-building at the heart of all we do, you can expect a fun and engaging course so you remember exactly what to do when you need it most.
Confidence is what we do best, and we are confident you will rethink your current first aid provider after experiencing our training!

Great to know
- This HSE-compliant course is suitable for those with a current first aid certificate. It does not re-qualify the delegate, but is aimed to boost their skills and confidence.
- While this course is a strong recommendation by the HSE, it is not mandatory to keep a certificate valid.
- When the original certificate expires, the delegate will need to re-qualify by attending a course again.
Rescue Breaths
During the Covid-19 pandemic, first aid training was confirmed by The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) as essential training. One of the practical and mandatory elements of first aid training is something called ‘rescue breaths’, where a delegate demonstrates their ability to deliver life-saving CPR on a manikin.
We worked hard to implement new safety measures, including the use of disposable single-use equipment, to ensure all our delegates were kept safe, comfortable and compliant during their training. Most other providers simply removed the rescue breaths element of their training.
The good news is that if you missed out on learning how to perform rescue breaths in your last course, we will make sure you are up to date and confident in the Annual First Aid Skills Update!
