Excellent course! So relieved to find this course was actually what I have been looking for for many years. We really needed this sort of training when I was working as a school nurse/first aider a few years ago. It isn’t too clinical (my previous training was very heavy on MH knowledge) so I feel more able to assist someone now. After the 2-day course I was really looking forward to the instructor course, whereas after previous 2-day courses I decided being an instructor wasn’t for me. I’d been frightened off. This course made it all accessible. I enjoyed all the sessions we shared with different facilitators and learnt so much. Angela was such a calm facilitator and made the whole experience worthwhile, accessible and interesting.
